Forest scientist. I have experience in vegetation sampling (tree communities).

I’ve researched tree community ecology and functional wood traits in the Colombian neotropical forests. I’m interested in forest carbon dynamics and their role in mitigating the loss of regulating ecosystem services.

Currently, we’re working on flooded temperate mixed forests of the Atlantic coast (NC, USA). Our research focuses on carbon dynamics and methane fluxes.
