Bio

I am a PhD Candidate in the Tropical Dynamics group headed by Dr. Anantha Aiyyer. My research interests include Tropical Meteorology, cyclones and Monsoons. Prior to joining NC State, I have done my Master’s in Atmospheric Sciences and my Bachelor’s in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Area(s) of Expertise

My current research focuses on the Structure and Predictability of the Monsoon Onset Vortex. Understanding this synoptic scale feature of the planetary scale Indian Summer Monsoon system through synoptical studies and numerical experiments is a part of my ongoing research work.
