My area of work is atmospheric dynamics, and I am interested in both tropical and extratropical weather/climate. My group is currently working on a variety of problems related to large-scale atmospheric circulations, tropical-extratropical interactions, tropical waves, and Hurricanes.
My current list of courses includes Mathematical Methods in Atmospheric Science, Atmospheric Dynamics-II, and Introduction to Tropical Meteorology, Convection in the Tropics, and Dynamics of Hurricanes.
