Aligned with Earth Day, the MEAS GSA will be going to Falls Lake to cleanup trash and perhaps also look at some of the rock outcrops nearby.

The plan will be to meet up at the Falls Lake Upper Barton Creek Fishing Access (Google Map link) on April 25th at 10 am. From there, we will clean up a large swath of area near the parking lot and a bit into the woods. Afterward, Aiden Nixon might showcase some of the interesting rock outcrops in this part of Falls Lake if that is of interest.

Trash bags will be provided, but anyone attending would be advised to bring gloves, a water bottle, and ideally some boots. Depending on the number of interested parties, carpooling can be implemented.
