Bio

Mike Madden is from Carterville, Missouri, a town on Route 66 that’s a couple of miles away from Joplin.

• Heavy precipitation and summertime thunderstorms
• Air pollution science
• Numerical modeling
• Science policy and advocacy
• Graduate student engagement and support
• Piano performance and composition

• Weather forecaster for KCOU 88.1 FM, Columbia, Missouri
